In Kolali Village, Ugenya, Siaya County, we recently carried out a special outreach led by our Director, Victoria Mitema.
This time, we reached 140 widows and widowers. Among them were about 10–15 elderly men and over 20 children. In total, families across the community received support.
We distributed food items, clothing, shoes, blankets for the cold weather, and other essential supplies, all completely free of charge.
For many of the widows, daily life is a struggle and providing for their families is not easy. Some of the elderly men are no longer strong enough to work and the children urgently need care, warmth, and stability.
This outreach went beyond giving items to restoring dignity and giving grace. We showed love and reminded families that they are not alone.
